( after i'm baq from gym n jacuzzi at least.. haha)
today is sat, and the SAP User from Finland, Minna and Sari invited me n min to join them to tour ard delhi. so we set off @ 9 today and met them @ Jantar Mantar ...
den after visiting Jantar Mantar, we went to connaught place.. din realli walk there.. only went to one of the shops which sells jewelleries, clothes and other things i don't like. haha.. anyway the price is damn steep. so we din stay there for long. den we went to another shop in delhi and spend like 1.5 hours there lookin @ shawls, bed sheets, embroidary, scarfs, leathers and etc. things that are not appealing to me. but i still ended up buyin 1 shawl @ ard 11 SGD and 1 shawl for jinwen which i think she ll like.. my other dear frens.. sorry din buy anithin for u guys yet or not buying.. becos there are realli nothing here which are suitable for u.. but min n i did buy some beautiful pens for colleagues in SG. so no worries =)
and after that, we left there and split our ways because we need to come baq earlier to do our work. before coming baq, we went to the petrol station to get some chocolates for our customers becos we will be visiting Nokia India Gurgaon next tues. and got some for the Fin ladies, DMC India and of cos for colleagues in SG too. end up buying about 80 SGD of chocolates! but we split the cost so its still alrite.
anyway there's nothing happening much over here.. but here's the conclusion i got for the week..
In Delhi:
* You can see ppl shitting & peeing anywhere anytime they like. they even do it in groups.
* the traffic is really terrible. worst than wad i met in thai.
* the streets are realli dirty, full w rubbish n smelli too.
* there are cows roaming ard the street, slping @ the side of the streets and eating rubbish.
* when the ppl felt cold, they just set fire, burn barks/trunks/rags whenever they want.
* the shops are all in devastated state.
* the toilet flushing system are all spoilt.
* there are loads of beggars, and they knock on your taxi windows.
* ppl think that we are animals from the zoo becos they keep looking @ us.
* the historical places are not magnicent. they are jus ugly ruins.
Introduction of Jantar Mantar....

Between 1727 and 1734 Maharajah Jai Singh II of Jaipur constructed five astronomical observatories in west central India. The observatories, or "Jantar Mantars" as they are commonly known, incorporate multiple buildings of unique form, each with a specialized function for astronomical measurement. These structures with their striking combinations of geometric forms at large scale, have captivated the attention of architects, artists, and art historians world wide, yet remain largely unknown to the general public.
Jantar Mantar presents the observatories through a variety of media and information sources, making it possible to explore and learn about these historic sites through interactive panoramic "VR" photographs, time lapse sequences, and 3D models as well as articles, drawings, and historic texts. It is a comprehensive resource for exploring the observatories in depth.
( they look beautiful in this pic? it actualli look so much much worst in real life. so photos are deceiving.)
